".....Ladies and gentlemen....sorry to interrupt your music dued to this latest news update.This is Daniel Ong your D.J here.The famous candy shop called 'The choco tree' is giving away tickets to four lucky children between the age of 9-1o years old to the world's famous candy factory in u.s.a.The tickets would be put in any 'Willy wonka' candy bar.Those lucky winners who get the tickets will win a trip to u.s.a. and see the world's famous factory.Here's Daniel Ong signing out....."
After hearing the news over the radio,I sat upright."The world's best chocolate factory?!?Wow!"I exclaimed.The world's best chocolate factory is the very place where kids all over the world dream of going,including me.Without hesitation,I rushed to a nearby candy store and bought a 'Willy wonka' candy bar.I took the candy bar and held it for a while,hoping that it contains the ticket to the famous chocolate factory.I opened it slowly and carefully,unable to resist the excitement in me.But my hopes fell as I opened the candy bar.It was just an ordinary candy bar.No ticket,no nothing.My face drooped.Well,I guess it not my lucky day.Not everyone is lucky enough to get the tickets for free.Only four lucky children in Singapore is to get the free tickets.I knew deep in my heart that my chances of getting the ticket is not even close to 100%."Well,I guess its no use crying over spilled milk,"I sighed,as I walked back to my house.
Two weeks later,I was walking home from school.By then,I had forgotten all about the tickets.I past the candy store and looked at the candies.The Sales lady had just took out fresh candies and had just started to fill the jars.I look longingly at the freshly made candies and decided to buy it.As I open the candy bar, I was stunned.Unable to say anything.I held the tickets close to my eyes.Then,reality came back to me.I ran home as fast as my legs could carry me.I reached home,calling my mom with the top of my voice telling her about the great news."What's with the noise?"she asked.I told her what happened.Not believing of what I've just said,she contacted the address written on the card.After talking several minutes on the phone,she smiled and put the phone down."Well?"I demanded.I wanted to know the answer."We won a trip of 3 to u.s.a to the chocolate factory!!"She exclaimed with delight.I gasped.Feeling of excitement swept me and my heart just couldn't stop beating.This is the most happiest day of my life and I would never ever forget it.Ever.
